A proper internet domain for Arthur Ransome, TARS and ARCJ: need money!

I have the oppurtunity to register an Internet domain for TARS and the Arthur Ransome Website, perhaps a name such as "ransome.org" or "tars.com". This will cost USD $100 a year plus initial setup costs of $60. It is envisaged that iot will be used for the web site, but it could be used for email for Society officers, eg "president@tars.org" or somesuch. I hope that the domain name would apply equally to our good friends in the ARCJ of Japan, so "tars" is not such a good name. I therefore reccommend the name "arthur-ransome.org" as representing the trio of Tars, ARCJ and the AR Pages. I would like feedback on what people think about the name.
How do people feel about this spending of money? Do you think it is worth it? I do, because the site has moved twice since its inception, and may be moved again. A full, meaningful Internet address of our owwn is the answer, then we can physically move servers at will without losing contact with the readers.
And now the tricky question. Does anybody here thisnk this is such a good idea that they would klike to offer some financial contribution to the cost? The ongoing cost of $ 100/yr is not too prohgibitive, but 210 is needed up front in the form of setup fees and payments in advance. Some support to get started would be very nice. As an underemployed busdriver I have plenty of time to give this work, but not so much in the way of money. If you find yourself in the opposite situation, you can help! [the maxim that "time is money" does not appear to work in my case, otherwise with all this time on my hands I'd be a rich man by now!]
