I have just received the latest Mixed Moss and knowing that Peter H is one of the editors, I just hope that he is still around reading this.

Apart from the reasonably adequate article on Dick's Bird Book in GN? which had been featured here already, I was impressed by the range and interest of all the articles. The colour paintings of the Broads were a sight to see and the idea of reprinting some articles from earlier was excellent for those who have not been around since TARS started. I enjoyed the humour of the Sparkinson Interviews which allowed us to understand some of the characters' point of view.

I was also impressed by Peter's own contribution on AR's techniques of writing about time in PP, I am not much of an analytical literary type myself but I admire those who can read a passage, discern and explain the way the author controls his writing to give the right effect.

All in all a very well produced journal and I look forward to reading and contributing to many more.

What a pity it is only available to TARS members ;-)
