Welcome back to Tarboard. While waiting for the new edition of "Captain Flint's Trunk", you could try "In the Footsteps of the 'Swallows and Amazons'" by Claire Kendall-Price or "In Search of 'Swallows and Amazons': Arthur Ransomes's Lakeland" by Roger Wardale. Hugh Brogan's "The Life of Arthur Ransome" is an excellent biography which complements AR's own "Autobiography". In addition to the SA series several other AR books remain in print including "Racundra's First Cruise". Finally, "Racundra's Third Cruise" has recently been published for the first time.
