If Dot goes to Bruton School she would start the Holidays on the 14th December and Return on the 3rd of January. Why is the Christmas holiday period shorter for English girls and was this true at the time of AR?
Dot would have to belong to a good house - Longleat - and her current Captain would be Mary Mitchell.
This is fascinating to think that the SAD's would have had all this stuff to think about.
