In the old days a toilet which you pumped out into the river, now the dreaded porta-potti and pump-out stations at boat-yards. When we lived on the Broads in the mid-70s flushing stright into the river had not been banned long. I have a numbe rof porta-potti stories but not for teh squeamish.
BTW board if made of wood, plate if made of metal; dagger if it goes straight down like a dagger centre otherwise
