Peter H:

I am sorry. In my haste to put up the notice, I forgot to include her as the latest Tarboard Baby, she will send you her first post when she returns home. I am sure Ian will not mind if she uses her father's account and typing skills for a few years.

Her Chinese name means in Chinese order - River Tender Hearted. The River comes from the name of her town which is beside a River, and the tender hearted was selected by the orphanage. She is one of 61 adopted by couples through the Great Wall Chinese Adoption agency of Austin Texas in the month of December 2005. There were about 1000 Chinese babies adopted in the world this month. All Chinese adoptions are through one agency with headquarters in Beijing.

I am assuming following sound Chinese tradition that Catriona will be able to call all of you Aunt or Uncle.

I wonder if I can get a life jacket small enough for her. I think perhaps we will wait a year until she can swim.

John Nichols (Proud Tarboarder and Dad, for the third time).

I have not had time to upload a picture to my web site yet.
