Two comments one serious one not - a house with just Readers Digest condensed books is the same as one without any books!
Years ago on the BBC the comedy programme 'Not The Nine o'Clock News' ahd this 'news' item -
Doctors have discovered a new way of detecting brain death - you enjoy Readers Digest!

(The curious thing is we are all knocking it but we all know about it and its style!)
