John - just a thought - did you realise that Tarboard postings are archived? No doubt Catriona will be a bright child and will as soon as she is able to read be computer-literate. She will perhaps take an interest in AR and the Ransome chat site that her Dad is always posting on. She might just search on her Chinese name, or her adopted name for that matter. I suppose it depends what you mean by 'a long time'.
