There are probably 1 million words in AR's books. If we need to change 30 or 40 words to accomodate the loss of Negro, so that all children can feel comfortable reading the books, this is not a huge deal. I understand why, and the lesser of two evils is a mild edit compared to banning the books on racial grounds.
