Am I allowed to follow up on my own post? I sent it by accident.

I meant to add that Oxford has a really wonderful traditional culture
among the watermen of the area, including a few sailing Oyster "drudgers"
and not much fear that the place will be overrun by civilization because
a few miles up the river farms and watermen prevail for many miles.

I don't think it's quite as safe as a lake, but there are lots of
protected areas.

Any other ideas?

Spencer (again)
