Jon - yes, thanks for reminding us of that incident. It is all a vexed subject, and a real 'minefield'. That is why I believe that frivolity is not appropriate here.
As to leaving it to the Lit. executors, I agree, but one must be careful of attempting to close a topic off on Tarboard. There may be people who are new to the board or who have been absent, and they may wish to have a say. However, let me assure you that I will now give it a rest (unless provoked)!
