No, you don't, actually. That has been the argument against social reform right through history. It's bunk.
Whatever one's views on banning the 'n' word, it has nothing whatever to do with the word 'niggardly' - you know it, I know it. Please don't pretend otherwise, there's a good chap. I suggest we leave it there.
