Now they need to film Arthur Ransome

Could I suggest that the story which is gasping for cinematic treatment is We Didn't Mean . .. It would not require multiple locations. It is packed with suspense and mini-climaxes. Most of the main action will take place aboard Goblin - we have the original, now Nancy Blackett, afloat and available. For the 'storm' scenes, a stand-in vessel would be necessary - as the action takes place at night, this ought to work on film. I appreciate that there are technical problems in this area, but nothing that ought to be beyond modern cinematic technology, and a convenient burst of bad weather.
