Why not the whole cannon? (was Narnia movie- WD next?)

WD is a great story, but is possibly not a good entry to the series. A case could be made for WH because it introduces all the main protagonists (with the exception of the D&Gs).

But why stop with just one book? Should we not (Tarboard and TARS) be promoting the idea that the whole cannon should be filmed?
