No, Jock - surely Mrs Blackett's more enlightened method of bringing up her daughters was very 1920s. Jim Turner could have lived in any age. Nancy and Peggy were 1930s, moving into a freer era for women. There is nothing about the family that is Edwardian, except the G.A. and she is probably more Victorian. (However, Col Jolys seems Edwardian to me.)
