What about that flag anyway? Were flagpoles commmon or something that Capt. Flint put up to amuse the Amazons? Even in the US, which has always seemed much more flag-crazy than England, relatively few people have real flag poles. Mostly, it's a flag/pole combo that's about 3 feet high.
