Since SA was apparently written as a "one-off"
AR planned to write more stories for children and at the end of SA the children discuss a possible sea voyage with 'Captain Flint' - a glimpse forward to PD. It seems that it's the status of PD that changed and strained temporal relationships. Do I see a blue policebox anywhere?
