Owen. I recall browsing Robert Thompson's excellent site and comimg across the photos of the 1941 ML Cape Dust Jacket and also the 1995 one. The significant difference (as far as I was concerned) was that the 1995 one indicated "A Sequel to Peter Duck".
This is a most curious thing to say! Apart from the characters, a "fantasy" story, an exotic location and the means of arrival there is little in common between the two stories. There is no reference in ML to anything in PD and quite simply ML is NOT a sequel to PD.
As an aside it seems strange that once a book is published and well established that an essential part of it (the dust jacket) should be changed. One wonders who the authority is that okays such a change.
