14th impression 1968 - definately as described, dust wrapper carries the Manchester Guardian's review: 'One of his very best... in a class by itself', and tthe Observer: 'Missee Lee ... seems to be his best yet... A book to buy, to read, and to read again, not once but many times' - perhaps this shows that adults coming to the book for the first time (as I assume these reviewers must have been) do indeed think it to be (among) the best, while those of us who read it as children did not ...?
