I am loathe to have to 'correct' Brigit - but Coniston Launch runs a service throughout the year. From mid Nov to mid March we operate a scheduled service on Sundays and Boxing Day to 3 Jan - but we always have a boat on the water and will run a special sailing whenever possible any day of the week (except Christmas Day - there are limits!).
If Fiona (or anyone else) requires our launch service just phone us on 015394 36216 and we will try to sail for you.
