Science has to fit facts. Hawking was obviously always wrong about the black hole, but in his defense he is talking about the information that goes into a black hole and the event horizon.
I would argue that from general relativity we can go backward in time, view the information and sent it out before the event horizon is crossed. One does not need the original book to read Chaucer.
JW are wrong about ignoring vaccinations and such things as work of the devil - there is no science in voodoo merely voodoo.
