Sorry, I forgot that some staff are not members of TARS (the Old Boys and Girls association). 'Miss Wotton' appears on our School Noticeboard as 'Joy' and photos of the fair Joy (she's brunette but you know what I mean) usually grace the OBG mags. She teaches Deportment and Common Sense and I wish she would come to St Tarboard's more often, for my sake as much as anyone else. I fear that to publish photos of Miss W on the Noticeboard might start the more unruly pupils off with that wretched wolf-whistling again (eg those boisterous Canadian boys). I am not entirely sure that the Headmaster's interest in a photo is all that innocent either.

(At this point I am tempted to say 'I wish I could get my hands on the choir's parts', but that line was delivered by Alan Bennett as the young schoolmaster in his own brilliant play 'Forty Years On'. If you want to see a really witty portrayal of a public school, that's the one. I am sure the Rugby-educated AR would have enjoyed it, but he died the year before it was first put on (attempt by me to get back on-topic).)
