Peter H in his post 20897 makes two important points.

The first that a TARBLOG could gettoize the 'reflective essays. The solution would be to for reflective essayists to use TARBOARD as a front door to TARBLOG. Thus JMN would post another plank nailed today on TARBOARD and by pressing PLANK those TARBOARDERS who were interested would find themselves wisked to the appropriate article and pictures on TARBLOG.

The second was that Ed might might consider creating an 'AR research' website and posting links on Tarboard. Now that's exactly how TARBLOG could work only, instead of tasking Ed to do the whole lot, Ed would have one research room in TARBLOG, JMN would have a cyclotron and a boatbuilding shed, You and I could run St Tarboard's, Joy could do Aromatherapy on Wednesday afternoons... . Do you get the idea?

What got the tired brain stump working feverishly on this idea was coming across a pile of discarded e-magazines called Signalling to Mars: The Official Electronic Newsletter of The Arthur Ransome Society. Not only are some of the articles jolly good, but it's clear that the format of STM, though now dated, did encourage lengthier, more reflective, contributions that are the exception rather than the rule on TARBOARD.

For anyone wondering what a BLOG looks like click the link below for a nice example.
