Email from the Head Mistress of the Girls School to Mr. Hyland:
My Dear Mr. Hyland:
Miss Dent has again brought it to my attention that boys from your school are sniggering behind the dressing shed immediately after the girls swimming practice. Miss Dent swears it was Niles Thornthwaite and his loutish group of friends, here I am stretching the bounds of friendship to describe 16 and 17 year old boys in such a manner. There can only be one reason for these school boys being in our school. I fear I will have another round of calls from parents about this incident.
I would thank you to ensure the end of this practice by your students. In the event of a re-occurence I will be forced to lay the matter before the police.
