You referenced the observation that cook was a non-live-in. How do you know she did not spend the night there?

Do we actually have any evidence that COOK stayed there round-the-clock, or that at some point, she went "home" and came back early enough to get breakfast going, etc.

Question - Did COOK live at Beckfoot?

Were her living quarters in the second floor of the kitchen?

There is a second floor as shown in WH with Nancy's swollen face blanked out as she is signalling to the others outside. That drawing shows a door to the kitchen section, with a window above it, for the second floor.
