Interesting thought Peter. I suggest you reread my post number 21080. So there is no mistake on my meaning "Lay off" means to
1. give the argument a rest.
2. Stop flogging a dead horse once he is only bones.
3. Try directing your energy to something productive.
4. Stop whinging about other people and what they are interested in.

Or as some famous person once said "Me thinks ... etc."

If this is not clear enough for you then I am happy to continue to mainly ignore your posts as that reduces strategy certainly reduces my daily stress level.
