I was just wondering if maybe we could agree on an approved list of topics that no one will complain about.
I for one liked the Old School stuff, I never went to an English or Australian boarding school and so I did not learn interesting facts like this. Of course if you lived through it is different. Roger is told not to be cheeky in one part, well what was cheeky in England in a boarding school.
I would much rather have had your sort of stories than the old Belmont High Kiln story or the suspend the student by his ankles from the third floor window. Those things would get you caned, less than that was ignored. Fighting was common.
I can tell you this stuff is a lot like a Texas University, except here the Police are more directly involved.
A fair number of students from West Texas call me by my last name.
I can remember when I first joined the Board we could go a whole weekend without one post. Now it is lively all the time.
If you care to post the approved list maybe we could then comment on same and agree. Of course like all democracies we can vote, and also allow room for the odd dissenter on thye soap box. (Thye is not a spelling error.)
