Thought I'd give this a topic of its own. What do others think of Gibber?
I must admit I have always found the Gibber and Polly 'characters' to be among the least believable parts of the 'main' series of books. The parrot gets in the way more often than not, and I just can't believe that a nine year old boy would be allowed to keep a monkey ... They really grate on me I'm afraid ...
