10cm is big, but that is only the maximum I was thinking of. I really need different diameters as organ pipes are different diameters. I might only need a maximum of 6cm diameter; I haven't measured and calculated my design yet.
I actually used bamboo in my last display two years ago. The theme was books and I did Missee Lee. The photos can be found at the link below. The Newham scarf was kindly lent by a TARboard member.
