Surely you mean a D16 Claud Hamilton 4-4-0 to head the Norwich-Cromer? It would have been quite a long train - as made clear by the problem Tom had in checking who was in all the carriages, and so too big for a C16 tank engine, if indeed there were any in East Anglia?

But I have seen quite long trains in East Anglia headed by a tiny Victorian J15 goods engine, the type actually used in the 'Coot Club' film.
