1) The hedgehog is not a native of the Western Isles
2) The consequences of the thoughtless introduction of hedgehogs into the Western Isles... are truly devastating for the very important seabird colonies...
Disagree:
3) The Uist hedgehog cull is absolutely necessary.
Alternative solution:
4) Move the hedgehogs to the mainland.
Additional info:
5) In some areas of the mainland hedgehog populations are tumbling.
6) Volunteers offered to help with moving the hedgehogs
