Yes- in fact, I just read the new one- Tomb of the Golden Bird.

I was rereading Ballet Shoes the other day- by Noel Streatfield, and thinking what a different atmosphere to S&A. Not just the idea of anyone getting Nancy into a tutu and tights, but that the children are highly dependent on adults. They were written in that same mid-30's era.
