Be that as it may, if another group or individual wanted to save Peter Duck and make her available to the public in some way, more power to them. But it is not something to take on lightly and I suspect a well motivated individual owner would be better than a trust any day for Peter Duck.
The Nancy Blackett is a different case. For public interest and fund-raising purposes, a boat that has appeared in the books is far better positioned than one which AR sailed for only a short time and didn't really like much.
