Visiting Lakeland - Oldman

Hi,

I am thinking of visiting Lakeland sometime later this year, and wonder how it is easy/difficult to go up on the Oldman.
I admit I am an unexperienced climber, and would like to know the level of the mountain, how long it may take, etc., for a visitor. I am not accompanied by kids, and normally I walk on paved road (not hilly area) 4-4.5km per hour.
Any advise, idea or comment will be welcomed.
