I don't think you are doing anything wrong Peter, in fact you have followed the Tech Counter instructions to the letter, It would appear that the Zoomshare service does not support lumps of HTML code inside your text. (A hack to get around this problem is discussed on Zoomshare's Help & FAQs forum.)
HTML support is a basic prerequisite of any decent service. That's one reason why Tarboard is so great. (The hard work done by Ian I-N behind the scenes is another!) Any one contemplating their own AR fansite [note, mandatory AR reference!] would be much better off using a service like Blogger.
