It sounds as if the website author knows something of both Ransome and Rackham, and did not just "ignorantly" assign the wrong name. I'm afraid Kevan is in for a rude surprise if he/she actually tracks down the book in the library . . . of course, I'm assuming the book will have an accurate attribution -- you never know.
If Kevan is a Ransome fan, maybe he/she will come visit TarBoard.
