If they had 4 legged critters at Beckfoot there is no way Nancy would have gone prospecting in PP with wheeled dromedaries! She would have been loading up real horse(s) and leading them off on another adventure!
(BTW) That picture of Dick called 'Forlorn hope' riding an overlarge bike down a severe gradiant always makes me feel nervous, just anticipating the disaster at the bottom, or the first bend, or at one of the trees...
