Ah - thank you - you have found a Ransome association for me!
My husband, Dr Marshall, will be in the UK for a couple of months on a sabbatical trip and I intend to take some time off so I can junket along as well. As this is his trip, there are no Ransome sites included :-(
However, we will be in Edinburgh for a conference and then down to Hull for a university visit. We have 3 days to drive between these two places and intend stay over night near Hadrian's Wall.
So, as I, in my role of academic wife, sit on the Roman Wall, I will think of you all :-)
