As I understand Iain's earlier posts from the dawn of Tarboard, in spite of the title of his essay, he is not suggesting that Pull Wood House is the Beckfoot building. He puts forward the hypothesis that its location, neighbouring geography, occupants and their possesions, share many common attributes with AR's Beckfoot.
As to the Beckfoot building itself... this is an important place for Ransomites, a shrine. We doff our caps and take off our wellies before entering. Requests to examine the plumbing can generate huge controversy.
There was a similar house that played a very important part in AR's life as a young man. Its name was Lanehead. (I posted an early picture of Lanehead about a year ago on Tarboard.)
We could perhaps try to arrange to look inside when you come and visit the UK?
