The "Grass Nest Monster" resides behind a row of large round hay bales on the north side of Lucas by the Highway. All you see is its head and tail cruising behind the hay. It was made by Jim Dickerman, a local "grassroots" artist, of welded steel junque and painted. His work populates a 35 mile streatch of K-18 in central Kansas. There should be pictures on www.grassrootsart.net soon.

What is the grass scupture at Chelsea?

And there are some people who say "Pish Tosh" at all this stuff! And I think Titty would have loved it!
