Yes, I think so. I think the lettering on the maps in the Puffin editions is re-drawn from the versions in the Cape hardbacks. I think the PP map was done by someone unfamiliar with the books, and he/she misread Ransome's hand-drawn GA as OR.
I'm not sure whether the maps were re-drawn as a whole or only the lettering. I have some of the books in Puffin, some in hardback and one in Red Fox, but there is no one title for which I have ready access to more than one edition for comparison.
