Donald Campbell in 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959
Donald never completed the course in 1967 (4 Jan) when he was killed, his fastest official time was in 1964 in Australia (Lake Dumbleyung 31 Dec).
The electric speed boat record was broken in 2005 by An Stradag (Helen Loney). She went rather faster than the hybrid solar electric launches of Coniston Launch which will take you on a leisurely Swallows& Amazons cruise!
