I can now publically announce... [pause for effect, while pretends to struggle with envelope] ...the winner is DAVE THEWLIS with "pushmepullyou" !

Dave, It was a pretty close run thing and for a moment I thought that the judges might choose Eric Abraham with "taggle of tugs". "Barging", "Tension" and "tow" were also interesting contenders. However, "pushmepullyou" was the only entry that aknowledges Peter R's point about tugs going astern. Extra marks were gained for a well hidden reference to research by Peter H on the linkage between the Swallows and Hugh Lofting's characters.

The grand prize is a certificate entitling you a glass of any available cask ale at the next TAG/TNRP/If not duffers... event. Anyone any ideas for the next competition?
