How about the link between Greenwich Observatory and Ransomes (the one better known for engineering, Traction Engines and lawnmowers). They built the main telescope. I suppoae that could be called an AR link........... in the widest sence of the term.

Or better still St Peters, Broadstairs, Kent. Arthur Ransome knew Edward Thomas who was living here. He made trips up to Ramsgate by boat and then went overland to St Peters to visit Edward Thomas. On a couple of occasions he seems to have come up by train. It has been known about for several years yet I have never seen it in any AR related publication.
