I was not aware that stealing was illegal in NJ, I thought it was the state hobby, merely discouraged not illegal.

As HAwkeye said about NJ -

1. I would rather live in a tarpaper shack in Maine,
2. you would never find you way home if drunk
3. All the houses look the same.

I have never been there and have no desire to recitfy that situation any time soon or late.
