Jock - thanks for the comments, and I now know how to link to a photo, for future use.

After all of which, I have to confess, head bowed, that I did not take any photos of the old Torver station, inside or out. To be honest, it has been much converted - all doorways made into windows, that sort of thing. The platform edge, with sandstone flags, is still there, but is part of a garden - the track bed is now a lawn. I did notice a small circular aperture just under the roof-line - where the old clock had been. I went inside and banged on the corresponding wall area - it was hollow! Sounds mad, but you will understand my excitement . . Alas, one cannot photograph excitement.
