The latest "Proceedings" even has two photos of me, taken from the Telly as I was there vicariously through the magic of teleconferencing. One of me in my "Squashy Hat" and another with my piece of rope that I used to practice tying knots ever since my early teen years. That is a Bowline Knot in the picture. Not sure why I kept that two foot piece of rope, but it has always moved with me as a memory items of those Boy Scout days.

And speaking of MOVING, back to my packing boxes. "And the days dwindle down to a precious few."

Now to disassemble this computer. No TARBOARD. No LAKELANDCAM. I'm feeling withdrawal pains already.

Wonder if I will remember how to put it back together when finally in Kentucky, in some strange house I have NEVER seen...

And as for putting the milk into the cup BEFORE or AFTER the tea, the answer is so obvious, it really makes me wonder what all the to-do is about - just don't ruin the tea with the addition of milk. That is for COFFEE. Just enjoy the TEA as TEA.

As for our beloved Ransome characters, if they did not feel some strange compunction to adulterate their tea with milk, and so NOT having to go fetch it, and having to deal with that milk can, that would have removed about a fourth of the size of the books, especially the ones based on "The Lake." There goes the "adventure."

(JOHN N.- I got my answer about "POM"...)

Gotta run...

Now y'all play nice together. Don't make me come back and have to pass out some whuppings. Just take off them sto'bought shoes and set a spell. Get a tad closer to the fire so you don't miss... Enjoy the sizzle...

[Practicing "Kentucky". Gotta learn it...]
