Discovered by accident a reference to sugar in tea in WH - the D's were given their own sugar lumps in a screw of paper by Mrs Dixon, so they could add their own sugar to the tea that Susan made. Implies that sugar was added individually to each mug, and that it was expensive enough to warrant Mrs Dixon giving the D's their own supply.

How expensive was sugar?
