I accept what you say about ceramics, I am a novice on them, but I can do the cracking calculation which would interest a Dick type, but I need two things the tensile strength and the rate of expansion with temperature. Think of it as the cracking problem with the copper in the kiln in PP, same sort of problem. \

It was a ceramic pot in PP was it not?

Any ideas on both numbers, Wedgewood should know that?
