And, to put the record straight, I did not return the fish, treasured or otherwise, I gave the poor creature a new home which was far better that the one it found itself in, stuck up high on a wall, staring down at a load of drunken asses! I have it on good authority that it's enjoying its new surroundings, it hasn't asked to be returned to The Swan, so it must be happy.
